209 Sentinel- Cerberus
Meet the Cerberus
Named after the famed three headed beast that protects the gate to the underworld. This 209 Sentinel alarm gives you plenty of options. Mounted, loaded, and operated the same as the other 209 Sentinel devices. The Cerberus gives you the ability to set once and use for three individual activations before needing to reset. Or use all three activations in quick succession from just one event.
Enhanced Deployment Options
Triple Bang Report
For a quick rapid series of bangs set up the Cerberus as follows. Tie three strings of varying length to the three pins. Tie those strings to a main string which can be tied to an object or across a path. The one main string will pull all the pins, but they will be pulled at slightly different intervals allowing for a series of rapports instead of one.
Force Multiplier
The answer to the multi-entry point problem. Use the Cerberus in place of multiple 209 Sentinels for securing multiple different objects, doorways or other entry points with one device. Tie one pull string per pin for individual reports. One device can replace three in these situations. There is also the additional benefit of the other heads not firing at the same time which leaves the other items or areas protected.
Lightweight and Durable Construction
Made from high-quality PCTG plastic, strong, impact-resistant, and holds up well against chemicals and prolonged exposure to the elements.
- Lighter than the original, yet more versatile and more affordable.
- Stainless steel springs and plunger pins — chosen for their exceptional longevity and corrosion resistance.
- Comes standard with a sturdy removable metal stake and a pair of bolts, nuts, and washers to secure the removeable stake. Two no pre-drill wood screws are also included for mounting.
Simple and Safe to Use
Safety and ease of use were top priorities during development. Here’s the straightforward loading process:
1. Pull the spring-loaded plunger up and tilt it slightly so it rests securely on the built-in support bracket (this holds it open for you).
2. Insert the pull pin.
3. Lower the plunger slowly onto the pull pin — it is now safe to load the primer
4. For an extra level of safety, you can insert a second pin through the body using the provided chem light holes under the plunger. This will prevent setting off the primer even if the pull pin is accidentally removed.
See the demonstration videos to walk you through the process visually.
Important
The 209 Sentinel line of alarms are designed to be used exclusively with 209 and 209 MZ primers. They are **NOT** intended for use with live ammunition, blanks, or any explosives. The device was engineered to not be readily modified or used with those items. These devices are fun but remember they are not a toy.
CAUTION
